Outbound Planner (m/f/d) Full time

Your tasks

Planning between 30 – 35 delivery drivers workloads each day.
Strong focus on vehicle utilisation and revenue targets in line with goals set directly by the line Manager.
Communicate and provide support to the full fleet of drivers & service partners throughout the working day
Work with all internal teams & service partners to achieve a market leading customer service while also ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed in full & on time.
Identify and implement process and routing improvements with management support.
*Own transport required as site is not connected to any public transport network*

Minimum of 1 years’ proven experience in a similar planning or logistics operations based role.
Strong Irish geographical knowledge essential.
Transport and Logistics related degree is desirable.
Proficient in the use of transport management and IT systems.
Strong knowledge and understanding of vehicle and packaging types along with rules and regulations within the Irish Haulage industry.
Excellent Time management skills and the ability to work under pressure and make reactive time sensitive decisions within a fast moving work environment.
Strong written and spoken English skills essential.
Hours: 12:00-20:00 Monday to Friday (Start and Finish times negotiable)
